My name is KeiVon Mattox, and I am a member of the Class of 2028 from Indiana. I consider myself one of the most dynamic, versatile, and competitive athletes in my class, and I believe my performance both on the field and in competitive camp settings shows that I belong among the nation’s top prospects, even after facing significant adversity during the season.

I am a true impact player who competes at a high level as a Wide Receiver, Cornerback, and Kickoff Returner. My strengths include precise route running, explosive speed, strong hands, and strong football IQ. I take pride in my ability to create separation against top defensive backs and in being a player who can affect the game in all three phases.

During the 2025 offseason, I competed at several highly competitive collegiate camps, including Indiana University, Purdue University, and the invite only Irish Invasion Camp. At the Irish Invasion Camp, I consistently won one on one matchups against five star cornerbacks and stood out in an environment built to identify national level talent.

At the Indiana University camp, my performance drew attention from Offensive Coordinator Mike Shanahan, and at the Purdue University camp, I received similar interest from members of the coaching staff, including Bilal Marshall. Competing and standing out at multiple Power Five camps confirmed that I am comfortable performing against elite competition.

At the UIndy Mega Camp, I had the opportunity to showcase my versatility by competing at both wide receiver and cornerback. I demonstrated fluid hips, recovery speed, and strong defensive instincts, which led to my first collegiate offer from Miami University, validating the work I have put into my development.

The past season presented challenges that were beyond my control. Our starting quarterback broke his ankle in the second quarter of the first game, and the second string quarterback left the team after the second game. For the remainder of the season, our offense operated with a wide receiver playing quarterback, which meant I played the season with three different quarterbacks and limited continuity in the passing game.

Despite those circumstances, I stayed focused and continued to produce. I finished the season with 41 receptions for nearly 500 receiving yards, close to 1,000 all purpose yards, and remained a focal point of opposing defensive game plans. I take pride in being reliable, competitive, and consistent regardless of the situation.

As a kickoff returner, my explosiveness allowed me to impact every game. At one point during the season, I ranked ninth nationally in kickoff return yardage until teams began avoiding kicking the ball to me altogether. My goal on special teams is always to flip field position and create momentum for my team.

Looking ahead, I will be transferring from Brebeuf Jesuit to Lawrence North, where I will compete alongside Monshun Sales, the number one ranked wide receiver in the Class of 2027. I believe this move will place me in an environment that challenges me daily and allows my skill set, production, and leadership to continue to grow.

I am motivated, disciplined, and committed to maximizing my potential. I believe that in a stable offensive system, my production will fully reflect my ability, and I look forward to continuing to prove myself against the best competition in the country.
