July 9, 2024: won Best Middle School Quarterback award at the Keith O'Quinn Passing, Receiving & DB Academy hosted by Sports International Football Camps.

 

July 12, 2024:  won Best Middle School Tight End award at Sports International Football Camp.

 

July 12, 2024:  combine testing and positional work by NCAA and NAIA college football coaches at Dream All-American National Showcase at Wakeland High School in Frisco, Texas.

 

August 17, 2024:  invited to suit-up for a middle school invitational practice with the John Paul II varsity football team in Plano, Texas.  Recognized by the head varsity football coach as the middle school player who stood out the most.

 

October 2024: invited to You Are Athlete Junior 150 Middle School Exposure Camp Series on January 4, 2025 in Dallas, Texas.

 

October 25, 2024: invited to FBU Futures Showcase on December 21, 2024 in Naples, Florida.

 

October 28, 2024:  received formal invitation to join FBU DFW East team for winter season 2024.

 

November 12, 2024:  invited to Under Armour Next Combine in Houston, Texas on April 12, 2025.

 

December 19-21, 2024:  trained and received official measurements + combine event times at the U.S. Army Bowl National Combine at Lovejoy High School in Lucas, Texas.

 

December 28, 2024:  invited to play in the Offense-Defense 8th Grade All-American Bowl game at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas.  Team went undefeated for the weekend at 2-0.

 

• Selected to be team captain.

• Starting H-Back.  Completed 2 carries for 14 yards / average 7.0 yards per carry.  My lead block from the H-Back slot cleared the way for our QB to score the only touchdown of our second game.

• Starting Defensive Tackle.  My tackle for loss + forced fumble resulted in the scoop-and-score that clinched our team's win at AT&T Stadium.

 

February 15, 2025: invited to and trained at the Under Armour Next Middle School Camp in Dallas, Texas.

 

February 23, 2025:  trained at the Texas Wesleyan Prospect Camp in Fort Worth, Texas.

 

March 1, 2025:  invited to and trained at FBU Camp at DeSoto High School in Dallas, Texas.  Received formal invitation to FBU Top Gun Showcase in Naples, Florida June 19-22, 2025.

Youth football accomplishments:

 

• Led youth football team to 4 Super Bowl championships - won 3 out of 4

• Unanimously selected to be team captain by coaches

• On offense: consistently ranked among top 3 receivers in league for receptions and touchdowns

• On defense: consistently ranked among top 3 defensive players in league for tackles, tackles for loss, and sacks

• Single season record for interceptions (9), 7 interceptions for touchdown / "pick-sixes"

 

Middle school football accomplishments:

 

7th grade season

• On offense: ranked among top 3 receivers in district as tight end with receptions (12) and touchdowns (4)

• On defense: 14 tackles / 4 tackles for loss / 3 sacks / 1 strip-sack for touchdown

• Selected as first team captain

 

8th grade season

• Used almost exclusively as blocking tight end for wing-T offense where 75%+ of offensive production went to run game.

 

Consistently recognized for having one of the highest football IQ's on the field by his coaches.

 

Uplifting, composed, and inspiring presence in the huddle.  Known for being an all-around strong leader and teammate with a great sense of humor.

 

Extremely coachable and respectful to coaches, learns and adapts very quickly.

 

Grayson is a two-sport athlete. He also plays basketball.

 

Grayson consistently gets A's and B's in school.  He is regularly recognized by teachers and administrators for his character, integrity, positive demeanor, and leadership.

 

Grayson's Christian faith is very important to him.  Grayson was baptized on Sunday, October 6, 2024.  He is active in his church youth group and with Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
